Join Gloucestershire-based mosaic artist Wal Bibbings for a hands-on workshop inspired by the vibrant colours and forms of the Kiftsgate garden. In this relaxed, one-day course, you’ll create your own 8×8” garden-themed mosaic on MDF –perfect for displaying indoors.

Wal will guide you through the key techniques of mosaic-making, from cutting and shaping tesserae to effective placement, adhesives and the grouting process. You’ll experiment with both ceramic and glass tiles, learning how to combine materials to striking effect.

The workshop is suitable for all abilities, whether you’re completely new to mosaics or looking to develop your skills further.
