Set within the refined elegance of this historic Broadway manor house, the event blends gentle artistic exploration with one of the region’s most cherished traditions.
During the relaxed workshop, participants are guided through expressive watercolour techniques, learning how to use water to build soft layers and depth before introducing light, shade and fine pen details. By the end of the session, each guest will have created their own finished watercolour and ink piece to take home, inspired by the calm beauty of the surrounding countryside and the tranquil atmosphere of Buckland Manor.
The creative morning flows seamlessly into a classic afternoon tea served in the manor’s serene setting, where delicate finger sandwiches, warm fruit and plain scones with clotted cream and preserves, and an array of handcrafted cakes await.
